- Interesting critique of Doctor Who, particularly the direction it has taken under Steve Moffatt. I am not caught up on this season, but I think the author has some good points about the companions being less active, more “mysterious” now than under Russell Davies. I differ with the author in that I think Moffatt is very talented and sexist as hell.

- Speaking of moonshiners, I haven’t watched this entire documentary yet, but the bits I have seen are amazing. Rest in peace, Popcorn Sutton, in a land where there are no ATF agents.
- On a personal note, I was pleased to discover that moonshine is amazing. Everclear (illegal in Pennsylvania, so a novelty for me) is vile, but honest to God moonshine ain’t just enjoyable in theory and song, it’s good!
